OFFICE
Lafayette, California
A social & working clubhouse for the curious, the creative, and the neighborly.
Connect With UsIt started the way most good things do — a few neighbors who refused to let a pandemic kill their sense of community. In 2020, when the world told us to stay apart, a group of friends in Lafayette decided to stay together. What began as an excuse to see familiar faces became something more: a clubhouse for people who believe that showing up is the first step to something interesting.
Five years later, The Office is a social and working space where poker nights coexist with AI workshops, where scout troops meet upstairs from record listening parties, and where a school board conversation can flow into a bourbon tasting. We're a 501(c)(7) social club — which means your dues may be tax-deductible*, and the bar is always open.
Make it what you want.
The Space
A room on a quiet street in Lafayette with a cast iron sign on the door and not much else to announce itself. Inside: a bar, a work area, big screens, sound system, darts, billiards table, and enough room for 100 different people to come together and do something worth talking about. It's not fancy and it's not trying to be. It's just a really good room with really good people in it.

The Work
A workspace for people who want more than a coffee shop. Cowork alongside neighbors building companies, writing books, and closing deals. Learn about AI and technology from local innovators. Network across industries without the awkward mixer energy. This is where professionals come to think, build, and grow — together.

Community isn't a given anymore.
Even in a place like Lafayette — where neighbors still wave and schools still hold potlucks — it's surprisingly hard to find a space where adults can just... be together. Learn something new. Argue about something that matters. Play cards with someone they didn't know last month.
The Office is that space. No algorithms, no membership tiers, no velvet ropes. Just a room with good people, a full bar, and a calendar of things worth showing up for.

We're not selective — we're intentional. Everyone's welcome, but we like to know who's walking through the door.
